The Student Nurses Association (SNA) provides a platform for nursing students to develop leadership, teamwork, professional ethics, communication skills, and a spirit of service. It encourages students to participate in academic, clinical, cultural, social, health-awareness, and community-service activities.The Student Nurses Association is a student-focused platform that promotes the overall development of nursing students. It provides opportunities for students to participate in educational, professional, cultural, social and community-oriented activities. SNA encourages students to develop leadership qualities, teamwork, discipline, communication, professional responsibility and compassionate care.

Objectives

  • To help the students to uphold the dignity of the profession.
  • To promote team spirit among students for common goal.
  • To help the students to develop professional ethics.
  • To encourage students to gain positive attitude towards the nursing profession.
  • To encourage the students to develop leadership quality and effective communication skills for overall development.
  • To encourage students to participate and compete in various events at state, regional and national conferences.
